Every summer, PNW-PSP field crews take to the woods to census trees and understory vegetation in the permanent plots. Field crews are based at the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest near Blue River, Oregon, and frequently travel to other plot locations in Oregon and Washington, such as the Oregon Coast, Olympic Peninsula, Mount Rainier National Park, Mount St. Helens National Monument, and various national forests in the Cascade Range.  If you’re looking to get hands-on research experience in forest ecology in the Pacific Northwest, check us out!
